ATHENS THROWDOWN 2024

ATHENS THROWDOWN 2024 returns for its 8th year in Athens, Greece, within dates:

Registration Opening: Dec 1, 2023

Qualifiers: Jan 15-31, 2024

Finals: May 10-12, 2024

Athens Throwdown divisions are:

Individuals

Individual athletes compete in the following categories:

1. Male & Female Elite – Open for all ages.
2. Male & Female Scaled – Open for all ages
3. Male & Female 35+ (must be 35 years + on or before the 12th of May 2024)
4. Male & Female 40+ (must be 40 years + on or before the 12th of May 2024)
5. Male & Female 45+ (must be 45 years + on or before the 12th of May 2024)
6. Male & Female 50+ (must be 50 years + on or before the 12th of May 2024)
7. Male & Female 55+ (must be 55 years + on or before the 12th of May 2024)
8. Teenage Boys & Girls 18- (must be under 18 years till the 10th of May 2024)

Individual Athletes participate in Online Qualifiers.

Teams

Team competitors compete in the following categories:

1. Team Elite Men – Teams consisting of 2 Male athletes
2. Team Scaled Men – Teams consisting of 2 Male athletes
3. Team Scaled Mixed – Teams consisting of 1 Male and 1 Female athlete

Team athletes DO NOT participate in Online Qualifiers.

Registration for all divisions will open on Friday, 1st of December 2023, at 12:00 noon (Greek local time)
